Fireplace, woodstove & insert installation
An open masonry fireplace sends most of its heat straight up the flue. An insert or woodstove turns that same opening into something that actually heats the room. We size, install, and test the whole system — as an authorized Real Fyre and Regency dealer — from showroom to first burn.

Getting the sizing right
The most common installation mistake is an appliance that doesn't match the space. Oversized units get run low and smoulder, which glazes the flue with creosote and means more sweeps; undersized ones never keep up on the coldest nights. We measure the room, the existing opening, and the flue, and specify from there — not from whatever's in stock.
What we install
Freestanding woodstoves, fireplace inserts, replacement fireboxes, and gas log sets. Every install includes the venting: liner sizing and fitting, connector pipe, hearth extension and clearances to code, and the flashing and termination outside. Conversions — an old open masonry fireplace to a sealed insert, or wood to gas — are routine work for us.
Tested before we hand it over
Nothing gets signed off until it's been fired and checked: draft verified, clearances confirmed, gas connections leak-tested where applicable. Joseph or Rick will walk you through operating it, what the break-in burns should look like, and how often it'll want sweeping given how you plan to use it.
Install & Upgrade — common questions
Do you sell the stove or just install it?
Both. We're an authorized Real Fyre and Regency dealer, so we can supply and install as one job — which also means one company is accountable for the whole system rather than pointing at the other.
Can I convert my wood fireplace to gas?
In most cases yes. It depends on the condition of the existing chimney and whether gas is already run to the hearth. We inspect first and tell you what the conversion actually involves before you commit.
How long does an installation take?
A straightforward gas log set is often the same day. An insert or woodstove with a new liner is typically one to two days depending on the chimney and whether any masonry work is needed first.
